Great purity, freshness and finesse for this vintage. A difficult vintage resulting a concentrated, fruit-driven, intense wine. Cherry, mulberry with a hint of earth. Very lean and fresh on the palate with remarkable  length and purity.

The aromas are so complex yet subtle wtih wet earth, mushrooms and dark fruits. Dried flowers as well. Full body, chewy tannins that are ultra-fine and powerful, yet there is a finesse and beauty to them as I said from barrel. Classic, great nebbiolo

A complex and persistent bouquet of violet, berries and chocolate. It has an enveloping warmth, smooth and perfectly structured with a characteristic background of plum, bitter cherry, raspberry and strawberry jam. Velvety smooth finish.

A dry and aromatic red, with accents of cured tobacco and pencil shavings to the flavors of baked raspberry, licorice snap and tarry smoke. Well-knit and balanced, this is full-bodied, with dense tannins firming the finish. 

The Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva by Carpineto winery is produced with grapes from Sangiovese (Prugnolo Gentile) vineyards with a minimum of 70% and no more than 30% between Canaiolo and other authorized varieties. The wines produced in Aloxe-Corton usually have a nice aging potential and are often called the Corton little brothers. This wine is nicely contentrated, well-balanced with cherry aromas. It is the perfect companion to red roasted meat and small game. It may also be paired with cheese.

The medium to deep garnet-purple colored 2015 la Lagune is scented of cassis, crushed red currants and dried herbs with a waft of underbrush. The medium-bodied mouth is chewy and refreshing with a good vibrant fruit core and lively finish.
